The St. Jago High School Cadet Unit, with 34 members, is a distinguished and longstanding program that instills leadership, discipline, and patriotism in its members. Located at St. Jago High School in Spanish Town, Jamaica, the unit plays a vital role in developing students’ character through military training, community service, and teamwork. The St Jago High School Cadet Unit has been maintaining a strong bond between its members for more than 40 years

The cadet unit provides an enriching environment where students gain invaluable skills, including military drill, fieldcraft, leadership, physical fitness, and first aid. As members of the Southern Regiment, cadets also participate in national events, parades, and leadership camps, representing their school with pride.

Above all, the St. Jago Cadet Unit is committed to fostering future leaders who will serve their communities and the nation with distinction.
